If you're having an excellent experience on iPadOS 14.1, iPadOS 14.0.1, iPadOS 14.0, or iPadOS 13, and iPadOS 14.2's changes don't blow you away and/or you're nervous about it potentially hurting your iPad's performance, you might want to hold off for the time being.
There's a lot to like about iPadOS 14.2, but the software is already causing problems for iPad users around the world.
The current list of iPadOS 14 problems includes some familiar faces: abnormal battery drain, issues with first and third-party applications, Bluetooth problems, problems with Wi-Fi, issues with cellular data, installation issues, lag, random reboots, issues with Face ID, and problems with Touch ID.
If these issues concern you, you might want to wait for Apple's next version of iPadOS 14.
