Don't Install If You Own a Newer iPad & Jailbreak

Developers have released a new iPadOS 14 jailbreak tool, but the tool isn't compatible with some versions of the iPad.

The team behind the Checkra1n jailbreaking tool recently released version 0.12.0 which adds support for iPadOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.1.

The jailbreak tool now works with A10/A10X-powered devices running iPadOS 14.x.

If you own an iPad model with a newer processor, you'll need to stay on iPadOS 13 for the time being.

Earlier this year the developers behind the "unc0ver" jailbreaking tool released a new version of the tool, dubbed 5.0.0, that's compatible with iPadOS 13.5 and most versions of iOS/iPadOS that fall between iPadOS 13.5 and iOS 11.0.

Unfortunately, the tool doesn't work with iOS 12.3-12.3.2, iOS 12.4.2-12.4.5, iPadOS 13.5.1, iPadOS 13.6, iPadOS 13.6.1, or iPadOS 13.7.
