Don't Wait If You Can't Wait Until 2021
The new iPad Pro probably won't launch for awhile.
Again, it initially looked like the launch would take place later on this year in and around the iPhone 12 launch. Unfortunately, most sources say those plans have changed.
Unless Apple announces the new iPad Pro models in November, it looks like the new high-end iPad Pro will arrive on shelves sometime next year. Again, rumors currently point to a release in Q1 or Q2 of 2021.
We don't have any specific dates or windows yet, but Apple typically launches its first hardware products of the year in March. So if the new iPad Pro misses 2020, and that looks probable right now, that's the first potential launch window.
If you can't wait until early 2021, or later, you'll probably want to start looking elsewhere for your next tablet.
